Breaux commits to LSU

Cornerback Delvin Breaux of McDonogh-35 has burst onto the college football recruiting scene in recent months after an impressive spring and very good performances at the Les Miles Tiger Football camp.

On Sunday, Breaux received an offer from Les Miles and on Monday he accepted.

"I was just thinking about the time when I was younger and how I liked LSU and my daddy played for LSU and Les Miles is a good man," Breaux said. "I just told him that I would like to commit."

"He's just a pure athlete," McDonogh-35 head coach Wayne Reese said in an interview earlier this spring. "He's the type of kid that can go to both levels. He's a true corner. He can play that press coverage; he can jam you. He's going to beat you up so bad you don't want to play against him. He can return punts, throw the ball as a quarterback, he can be a wide receiver."
