Houston PG drawing Tubby's attention

The offers are starting to roll in for Houston point guard B.J. Holmes. Rivals' No. 118 prospect in the Class of 2007, Holmes has been impressive on the AAU scene while playing with the T-Mac All Stars, and college coaches are taking notice.


Houston, Texas A&M, Charlotte, Miami, and Michigan have all offered, and Holmes said Kentucky has hinted that an offer may come. Tubby Smith and Scott Rigot watched Holmes multiple times during the high school season as well as at AAU events.


"I talked to Tubby Smith," said Holmes. "He told me about the program and the way they play. He said I'd be a good fit."
