Tech keeping tabs on Arkansas QB

Georgia Tech's top targets at quarterback are Josh Nesbitt and Steven Threet, but they're also keeping a close watch on Kodi Burns of Northside High School in Fort Smith, Ark.


Burns, who is 6-foot-2 and 195 pounds, recently traveled to Atlanta to participate in the Elite 11 combine at Bobby Dodd Stadium.


"I've been talking to Georgia Tech," Burns said. "I just visited there and I liked it. They've been sending a lot of letters. I think Georgia Tech is real close to offering, along with Clemson and Florida. I've been getting a lot of phone calls. This is the month they can call once. The colleges that came up to the school were Arkansas, Kansas State, Kansas, Vanderbilt, Texas A&M, Ole MIss and Mississippi State. I try to talk to the coaches once or twice a week."
