Crunchtime for Creer

It's been more than two months since Tatum running back Lennon Creer picked up an official offer from Mack Brown and the Texas staff, and since then the speculation on Creer's future destination has been all over the map.

Shortly after picking up his official invite from Texas at a Longhorn junior day in February, Creer mentioned that he was considering giving the Horns a quick commitment. But as the weeks passed, Creer's stock continued to gain momentum, and more scholarship offers began to find their way to his doorstep. Along the way, Texas has continued to pile up commitments and the Horns' numbers have become very tight, and the Horns recently gave Creer a June 4 deadline by which they'll need a decision.

One of Creer's most recent invites came from the Miami Hurricanes, and recent talk has had the 'Canes jumping in front of the Horns as the new team atop Creer's list. But now, with June 4 quickly approaching, Creer said he's as open as ever and he has no idea on how things will play out in the next two weeks or beyond.
