Defensive end locked and loaded with talent will close out our spring football coverage with a two-week position grade out that breaks down where Nebraska stands heading into summer conditioning and fall camp.

Defensive end is arguably the most talented position on the Nebraska roster heading into fall camp. NU will be led by senior Adam Carriker, who had the most sacks in the Big 12 Conference in 2005.

For most of spring football both seniors Adam Carriker and Jay Moore were dominant. These are two guys that both should be first day NFL draft picks next season.

Nebraska led the nation in sacks in 2005. With the cast of players returning in 2006, there's no reason why they shouldn't be able to have similar sack numbers this year.
