Durant can't wait

Kevin Durant will soon graduate from Montrose Christian and begin his career as a Texas Longhorn. The 6-foot-10, 210-pound wing has not let his recent all-star game success go to his head as the hard work to prepare for the next level has continued. Durant will make his way to Austin on June 5 and begin taking part in the off-season program. Durant talks Texas and other subjects in a question and answer session.

When do you report to Austin?

I'm coming down June 4th or 5th (high school graduation is the 4th). I can't wait.

What have you been working on since the all-star games?

I've been working on my strength, ball-handling and shooting. My entire game really.

What was the McDonald's All-American game experience like?

All all-star games are a lot of fun. I thought I played pretty well. It was a fun week.

How was the Jordan Classic experience and did you meet MJ?

The Jordan Classic was my favorite. I met Michael Jordan a couple of times during the week. He is a cool dude.
