Scott picks up another offer

With it being the home of Daytona International Speedway, there's no doubt that Daytona, Florida is best known for one thing, that one thing being speed. Last Saturday, while at the Volusia County Gator Gathering - which by-the-way was being held in the infield of the world's most famous speedway - Florida Gator head coach Urban Meyer spoke of forty yard speed and football speed being two different things.

Though he didn't, he could have held up Daytona Beach (Fla.) Seabreeze cornerback James Scott as an example of what he was speaking about.

A month ago at the Miami NIKE Camp, Scott had a so-so outing turning in a pedestrian like 4.58 forty yard time. Not exactly greased lightening in this day and age; however, he earned high marks from those in attendance for his technique during the 1-on-1 drills.

His ability in coverage has earned him offers from three different Southeastern Conference programs.
