Travian Robertson claims six offers
Travian Robertson, a defensive end from Laurinburg, N.C., Scotland County is getting quite a bit of hype as he heads into his senior season.
If his performance at the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas Combine over the weekend was any indication, then the attention surrounding this 6-3-1/2, 220-pound defender is well justified.
Although Robertson participated in only two events at the combine - the 40-yard dash and the bench press. It was the number he posted on his first run that caught everyone's attention.
Running in front of a number of college coaches, including UNC's Kenny Browning and others from multiple ACC schools, Robertson ran a 4.58 40-yard dash, easily one of the best times among his position grouping.
Robertson's second time, although not quite as dazzling, came in at a solid 4.83 seconds, after he stumbled slightly going out of the opening stance.
Travian's long strides, combined with his advanced frame, screamed "rush end" as he rumbled down the track during his two runs.
