Mallett talks about his Michigan pledge
Now that the decision has been made and is out in the public, Texarkana (Tex.) Texas High quarterback Ryan Mallett summed up his feelings with just one word - relief. The 6-7, 235-pound signal caller ranked as the No. 9 overall prospect in the country in the pre-evaluation period came to a decision this past weekend that he was going to be a Michigan Wolverine and announced that decision today.
When it was all said and done, Mallett chose Michigan over schools such as Florida State, Alabama, Oklahoma and Notre Dame. When asked his reasons for choosing Michigan, he said there was too much to like about the opportunity.
