Buffs add late commitment to 2006 recruiting class
Signing day came and went and Jalil Brown was left wondering if and where he would play college football. Surprising, considering what the 6-foot-1, 195-pound athlete from Phoenix (Ariz.) South Mountain accomplished on the gridiron last fall.
A handful of Division I programs were keeping a close eye on Brown, but his best option did not emerge until earlier this month. The University of Colorado offered late and played host for an on-campus visit the same weekend as their spring game.
Before Brown left Boulder, he had given the Buffs a verbal pledge.
