James flattered by big comparisons

However, the consistency of the program has opened a few doors in recruiting over the years. The class in 2006 is perhaps the most talented group Sampson has signed in his tenure at Oklahoma. The most notable signing of the season comes in the form of Nacogdoches, Texas five-star Damion James, who is considered the No. 1 player in the state of Texas this season. The 6-foot-8, 225 pound small forward knows he has quite a task ahead of him, but he can hardly wait to get on campus and face the challenge..
