Goodwin turns in huge performance

Going into Saturday's game, Rutgers head coach Kyle Flood said true freshman running back Justin Goodwin had earned the right to carry the ball in games as Rutgers tried to fill the shoes of injured starter Paul James.

Goodwin proved his coach correct, delivering a breakout game in Rutgers' 55-52 win over the SMU Mustangs. He ended up with 149 yards on 24 carries, two rushing touchdowns and another receiving
