Goal for the game: Don't get clowned
There's an old saying used by football coaches who are trying to build up the psyche of young cornerbacks. It's about having a short memory and being able to forget the previous play. That holds even more true in this current age of college football. With complex passing schemes popping up around the nation like 19th century circuses, every other college program now seems to tout the greatest passing show in college football. That means cornerbacks often are the clowns of the show. With all due respect to Fizbo, nobody really wants to be the clown.
