Video: Piland Talks Tech, UCLA

The Houston Cougars dropped their second game to start the season last Saturday as the fell to visiting Louisiana Tech 56-49 at Robertson Stadium. In that game sophomore quarterback David Piland seemed to shake off his struggles in week one to put up 77 pass attempts, completing 53 of them for 580 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions, good for last week's Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week honors.



The schedule doesn't get any easier for Piland and the Cougars as they travel to the Rose Bowl next Saturday to face the newly ranked UCLA Bruins for the third and final game in their three year series which stands tied at one game a piece.



Piland met with the media Tuesday morn gin as part of the Cougars weekly press conference and player availability. CougarsDen was on hand and brings Piland's thoughts on last week as well as the upcoming game.
