Hill talks SU offer

Detroit Cass Technical School in Michigan has been no stranger to top prospects. This year is no different as safety prospect Delano Hill already has two offers.

Hill, 6-foot-1, 190 pounds has talked with Syracuse running backs coach Tyrone Wheatley since he received the offer.

"We talk about me visiting the school and what kind of program it is. I would like to get up there pretty soon like in the next few weeks."

With a Syracuse offer in hand what exactly does the defensive prospect think of the Orange?

"I think it is a nice school and they have an up and coming football program. The school has solid academics and they are good at other sports as well, like basketball," Hill stated. "I know more about the Syracuse basketball team I do not know much about the football team yet."

The Orange want Hill to play safety for them and he talked about what makes him a solid prospect.

"Syracuse wants me to play safety. I believe I get to the ball well, and I have a nose for the ball with fumbles and interceptions. I also think I am a good tackler."

Other than Syracuse there are a few more schools showing interest in Hill.

"I just have offers right now from Iowa and Syracuse. I think Illinois and Michigan State might offer soon."

As far as a decision goes nothing is expected to come quick from the Detroit product.

"I think I will probably make my decision during the summer. It will probably be around the time of my first game
