The Florida game in a nutshell

Vanderbilt earned a 77-67 win over No. 13 Florida at Memorial Gym on Tuesday night. VandySports.com's Jesse Johnson and Chris Lee were there and have all the key details.


Turning point:
Vanderbilt coach Kevin Stallings didn't pull any punches in addressing the situation. Florida's Brad Beal had just hit a 3-pointer to cut VU's lead to 62-61 with 5:42 left, and UF's guards had been slicing through the lane to get lay-ups for much of the second half.

So, Stallings, who strongly prefers to play man-to-man, ordered a 2-3 zone. "Going to the zone was out of sheer we couldn't guard them in man," he said.
