NSD: A look at the 2012 class

With head coach Bret Bielema scheduled to announce Wisconsin's 2012 recruiting class in just a few hours, BadgerBlitz.com contributors Jon McNamara and Tom Lea, along John Veldhuis from Bucky's 5th Quarter, provided their insight on the expected class.

Top Prospect:

John: Bart Houston, QB - He's not the highest-rated prospect, but he's definitely attracted the most attention. Houston comes in as an Elite 11 quarterback from a highly regarded high school, and it'll be really interesting to see how he handles himself in fall camp. The Badgers don't usually get highly sought after signal callers, so it'll be interesting to see what Houston can do after he's had time to develop in the system. Don't levy all of your hopes and dreams for the Badgers onto Houston, but we might be seeing the side effects of Russell Wilson's success story: young quarterbacks now know that they don't have to be just a game manager at Wisconsin.
