K-State set to open spring drills

The question was about momentum, excitement and all that surrounds spring football coming off a bowl season. Bill Snyder has been here before and he'll concede it's a lot better than the alternative. The Kansas State head coach pondered the question for a moment days before opening spring workouts for a 20th time in his legendary career. Momentum? Excitement? The 71-year-old half-grinned and dryly replied, "Everything in its place." Now the wait is over. Spring practice starts Wednesday.
