Calipari talking Mississippi State

Mississippi State had two battles with Kentucky last season both resulting in overtime periods.

But it was the Wildcats who came out on the winning end each time with the final victory securing the Southeastern Conference Tournament Championship. Now John Calipari's squad is set to square off again against the Bulldogs Tuesday night as both teams enter with identical 5-5 league records.

"They've got good players," Calipari said of MSU. "You're talking about a very talented team that I think some of the distractions have taken away a little bit. Yet they are still going to come in here with something to prove. From (Dee) Bost to (Ravern) Johnson to (Renardo) Sidney to (Kodi) Augustus, you're talking about as good a players as we have in our league."

Bost leads the Bulldogs in scoring with 17.7 points a game to go along with 5.2 assists. In the two previous games against Kentucky Bost combined to score 38 points. Calipari feels that Bost is playing at an even higher level than he was in 2010.
