Is WVU in the race for top junior QB?
Junior quarterback Matt Davis from Klein Forest High School (TX) only played in one half of the first game during his 2010 football season before suffering a torn ACL. While he has spent the past five months rehabbing his knee, it has not slowed down college recruiters from coming after him.
The Houston native has been speaking with coaches constantly, and he made another trip Saturday to College Station to check out Texas A&M. Davis expanded on where he currently stands in the recruiting process.
"A lot of schools are coming at me, mainly SEC and Big XII schools. But there's also a few from the ACC and Pac-10," he said. "I'm just trying to get a good feel for these schools. I want to try and wrap it up in the next 4-5 months."
