Bulldogs land Rivals250 DT

Mississippi State picked up another instate commitment when Rival250 four-star defensive tackle P.J. Jones of Tupelo pledged his serves to the Bulldogs.

The 6-foot-2, 252-pounder visited MSU officially last weekend which was enough to convince him to wear maroon and white.

Jones told his hometown newspaper Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal reporter Brad Locke to "Go ahead and make it official. Tell everybody I'm going to State."

Rivals.com has also confirmed his commitment via text. Jones' commitment marks the 16th player with Magnolia State ties to join the Bulldogs 2010 class.
