Hamilton enjoys all-star game
Future Hawkeye Ray Hamilton spent the past week in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina playing in the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl. Q: What was the all-star game experience like for you last week?
HAMILTON: It was a great experience overall. I'm really happy that I got invited and that I went. I got to meet some really cool guys and some really talented guys. Getting to play with guys of that caliber, where about everybody is going to a BCS school, I mean practices and the game were really competitive. As a senior, the 6-foot-5, 230-pound Hamilton caught 55 passes for 902 yards and 11 touchdowns in leading Strongsville to a 6-4 record. In June, the four-star prospect committed to Iowa over 32 other scholarship offers, which included Florida State, North Carolina, UCLA, Michigan, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, West Virginia, Pittsburgh, Oregon, Oklahoma, Boston College, Colorado, Cincinnati, and Stanford, among others.
