Mullen wants continued improvement

Mississippi State is riding high following four consecutive wins and their debut in the top 25 poll for the first time in over nine years.

But the message Dan Mullen has stressed this week at practice is for the Bulldogs to work hard to continue their improvement. The team got the memo during Tuesday afternoons practice leaving the head coach pleased with their efforts.

"I liked our attitude today at practice and thought we worked hard," Mullen said. "We cleaned some things up and improved some things. We've got to keep our focus and keep improving. This is a big game for us this week."

MSU, like many other teams around the country, are undergoing its share of injuries. The Bulldogs have already lost senior wide receiver Leon Berry and junior tight end Marcus Green for the season.
