Wallace sizes up Ducks

There are few players in the country who play the game like Anthony Wallace. One of the fastest, best tackling linebackers in the country, Hailing from Skyline High in Dallas, Texas, he's a four-star rated middle linebacker and the fourth rated player nationally at that spot. He's also interested in a lot the things the Ducks have to offer. Like playing early in his career after the departure of Casey Matthews and Josh Kaddu. Like the Warsaw School of Sports Management, which happens to be the major he's interested in pursuing. And the campus, players, and staff whom he said he got along great with.

Wallace says he has no timetable on when he'll make a decision but that he wants to take all of his official visits. The next two will be Ohio State and Penn State although there are no confirmed dates for those trips.

As for the trip itself, Wallace says he mostly spent time with the coaches and players and a lot of time with his position coach. "I liked Coach Pellum a lot," said Wallace, "He was really cool and so were the players. I also like the Nike connection and the way the team itself played together. I had a lot of fun and I liked the school. They're also losing a bunch of linebackers so I could maybe come in and play early too. The crowd was really into it. Even though it was a blowout and the game was over early, the crowd and the players were into it anyway. I liked that."

Wallace said the things he's looking at most are the players and coaching staff, the chance to play early, and the academics. Like most players on their official visits Wallace arrived on Friday and returned home Sunday. "Josh Kaddu was my host and he was real cool," said Wallace, "I got to see how they go through a game day situation so that was great."
