Ed Davis has his choice in mind

The recruiting process accelerated quickly for Detroit Southeastern linebacker Ed Davis in the last two months, but the 6-3, 215-pound prospect has stayed in control of his recruitment throughout. After receiving a slew of new offers last month, Davis has already started to settle on one team.

Davis entered the month of June with just two offers from Howard University and Toledo. A summer camp at Michigan on June 5 earned him an offer from the Wolverines, and subsequent camps at Iowa and Michigan State yielded offers from those two schools as well.
“I was going to try to graduate early, but I figured I’d just stay in school,” Davis said. “I’m just some grades up so my GPA will be higher. In ninth grade I pulled some D’s and I’m getting those up to A’s so there will be no problems getting into school.”
