Ready to Roar, Part 4: Gabe King

Gabe King is 6-foot-6, 253 pounds of quarterback-crushing muscle and speed. He can bench press 275 pounds and squat 405. He was a US Army All-American, the No. 30 player in the 2010 recruiting class and runs a 4.6-second 40-yard dash. Cal head coach Jeff Tedford has said that, along with linebacker Chris Martin, King may be one of the top contenders for early playing time among the 2010 recruiting class.
But behind all of that strength, power and potential, lies the soul of an artist, one who wants to leave his mark as a multi-talented athlete, but not the kind you may think.
