Aggies starting small while searching for a SF

In Saturday's 85-70 win over Texas Tech at Reed Arena, Texas A&M came out with a much different starting lineup. Ever since senior guard Derrick Roland was lost for the season freshman win Khris Middleton has stepped into the starting role. Against Tech, the 6-7 Middleton was replaced in the starting lineup by 5-11 junior guard B.J. Holmes.

Against the full-court pressure defense of Missouri, that starting lineup will once again grace the floor to start for the Aggies again Wednesday at 9 p.m. at Mizzou Arena in Columbia.

"We're a deep team so it really doesn't matter who we start, but with this lineup we basically have three point guards on the floor at your one, two and three spot," said sophomore point guard Dash Harris. "It will definitely help us because it doesn't matter who takes it out or who gets it in. We have three guys who are strong with the ball and take of the ball so it will definitely benefit us. Like I said we're just going to look to be aggressive on it."

But Missouri aside, a problem still exists for the Aggies as they enter the second half of the Big 12 conference season. Ever since Roland's injury, no one has stepped up and secured that 3-spot on the court vacated by the senior.
