Four-star DE taking his visits

Four-star defensive end Kaleb Eulls shocked most of the Southeast this summer with his commitment to Mississippi State in early July.

The 6-foot-4, 255-pounder from Pickens, Miss., chose the Bulldogs over offers from Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss, Southern Miss and Tennessee. But now six months later Eulls will at least take some official visits to gage the competition.

Eulls will make a trip to Tuscaloosa, Ala., this weekend before heading to Mississippi State next weekend and wrapping up with a visit to LSU on Jan. 29.

"Basically the things that I am expecting out of these visits is just a chance to meet more recruits, even ones that I know I want to get to know them better," Eulls said. "I just want to get a chance to get a feel for the school atmosphere and just check it out. I want to have fun and cherish the moment."

Last week, MSU assistant coach Melvin Smith stopped by Yazoo County High School to check in with Eulls about his upcoming visit.
