Offseason Outlook: Keeping a pass rush

Texas A&M's pass rush improved in 2009 big time because of one player - junior Von Miller. But the verdict is still out if Miller will return or if the nation's sack leader will test the NFL Draft waters. Either way, the new jack position and what Miller did with it has created a perfect storm for potential recruits with talents similar to Miller.

Redshirt freshman Andrew Weaver would basically fall into the position if Miller were to leave, but the Aggies do have a number of players coming in to challenge him.

First up is Damontre Moore who has been recruited specifically for the jack. The second could possibly be Corey Nelson who will start out, however at linebacker. His play in the playoffs as a rush end against DeSoto may get the Aggie coaches thinking about the move if needed. And A&M could always look at its current crop of linebackers for a player that could possibly make the move as well.
