K-State's play leaves its coach furious

Frank Martin called his team "soft" in the toughness department after a 13-point win over IUPUI last Saturday. Following Kansas State's performance on Tuesday night, an 83-76 victory against Division II member Fort Hays State, junior guard Jacob Pullen joined his head coach in taking a hardened stance against the ills plaguing the Wildcats, whose competition level is expected to take a leap starting with Washington State in the Big 12/Pac-10 Hardwood Series on Saturday at Bramlage Coliseum.
