I can't believe we are in 2009 with all of our great technology and couldn't
even get a video board stream of the game. I guess with 8000 fans in attendance,
the Washington State administrators decided they didn't want to humiliate themselves
any further by airing the game, but still…writing this piece is tough going
off of the radio broadcast alone.

I honestly thought the Beavers would have scored more, but they only racked
up six touchdowns. Sean Canfield continued to be efficient and Jacquizz
Rodgers tacked on a few more touchdowns to his record setting pace.

The Beavs actually escaped Pullman without having to open the playbook up too
much, and while the players all said the right things about being focused on
the Cougars, I think they were all thinking a little ahead to Dec. 3 as well.
Who could blame them?

All in all it was an expected win and the Beavers delivered.

567 to 192 in yards gained. 42 to 10 in points scored. That's a whooping any
way you slice it. Yes, there was about a quarter's worth of the game when the
Beaver offense went MIA, but the other three quarters were solid.

Canfield again had a great day. 22 of 29 for 231 yards and 2 touchdowns. Folks,
he really is having an outstanding year.

Nice to see a couple of the young guys get in on the action. Jovan Stevenson
has some nice runs, including a 39 yarder and a touchdown. Marcus Wheaton
scored a running touchdown. Ryan Katz was also effective in his mop
up duty time, throwing for 53 yards on 4 of 7 passing.
