UCLA Women’s Basketball Dominates UH, 98-52
The UCLA Women's' Basketball team, (2-1) in their regular season home opener, gave up some friendly mahalo, as they hosted the University of Hawaii Rainbow Wahines, (1-1), who were fresh off a victory against UC-Riverside. The last time the two teams met was in November of 2002, with the Bruins losing a heartbreaker, 70-66.

By the 10 minute point of the first half, Hawaii looked out-of-sync, gassed, and confused, while appearing to lack both the necessary rhythm and acceleration required in keeping up with the footloose and feisty Bruins, who apparently left that mahalo behind with the opening handshakes.
