V-Cast: Comp and PK on thriller over Gonzaga

EAST LANSING - staffers Jim Comparoni and Paul Konyndyk made their way back out to the court at Breslin Center after interviews were over to share their thoughts on Michigan State's dramatic 75-71 victory over Gonzaga.

The No. 2 ranked Spartans struggled to execute and turned the ball over excessively in the opening half. In the first half, the Spartans looked like a team that need a couple more exhibition games. In the second half, Michigan State did a better job taking care of the ball. They also ran set plays out of time outs to perfection on their way to a hard-fought non-conference win over a scrappy Gonzaga basketball team.

Comparoni and Konyndyk addressed several topics, including Michigan State's sloppy play in the first half. The staffers also discussed at length the gritty performance by Raymar Morgan, and the clutch scoring provided by Kalin Lucas and Durrell Summers.
