Auburn takes big lead for Mincy

Cornerback Jonathan Mincy doesn't have any doubts. Not anymore. Not after Friday.

Mincy, 5-foot-10, 175-pounder out of Southwest Dekalb High in Decatur, Ga., took his third unofficial visit to Auburn. The No. 25-rated cornerback in the country, according to Rivals.com, left the Plains with a clear leader.

"It was great. I was impressed once again," said Mincy. "They are No. 1. Auburn really stands out. I just feel at home there."

Mincy arrived in Auburn Friday and stayed throughout the day. He met with several of the Tiger coaches including head man Gene Chizik, recruiter Tommy Thigpen and cornerback coach Phillip Lolley.
