No. 2 RB among big group visiting Auburn
Duncan (S.C.) Byrnes five-star Marcus Lattimore, rated by Rivals.com as the No. 4 overall recruit and No. 2 running back in the country, wants to know what all the fuss is about.
Just what is his friend and fellow top recruit, Temple (Texas) five-star running back Lache Seastrunk, talking about?
Seastrunk, the only running back rated higher than Lattimore, called his visit to Auburn last weekend "the best experience I ever had."
"He wouldn't stop talking about it," said Lattimore. "I've heard a lot from Lache. I talk to him all the time. He's like one of best friends. He spoke highly of the whole visit.
"The campus, the coaches, the people, he likes everything about Auburn. I'm just ready to see what he's talking about. I'm ready to visit."
Lattimore will get that chance this weekend. He, along with approximately 75 other recruits and signees, will be on the Plains Saturday for the Tigers' A-Day Game. The 5-foot-11, 210-pound Lattimore actually plans to be on the Plains all weekend.
