Osceola has several to watch for 08

Seminole (Fla.) Osceola head coach Jeff Rolson has several potential Division I-A prospects for the Class of 2008, including athlete T'Sharvan Bell, who already holds a scholarship offer from a Big 12 program.

The 6-foot-1, 175-pound Bell has received a scholarship offer from Kansas State.

"He'll be a quarterback this year, but also will play at cornerback," Rolson said. "He could be a great wide receiver, too. He's 6-1, he's lean and he covers a lot of ground very well."

Bell had eight interceptions as a junior.

The Wildcats were the first program to offer, but other schools also have inquired about the versatile prospect.

"UCF called (Tuesday)," Rolson said. "Ole Miss has asked about him, too."

Running back Bubba Brown has a much, if not more, potential as Bell.

The 5-foot-8, 165-pounder recently posted a stellar 4.46-second 40-yard dash time at the Orlando NIKE Combine. His junior year, he rushed for 1,150 yards and 10 touchdowns in only seven games.

"He's got great vision for a running back and is powerful," Rolson said. "He's good in the weight room. He didn't play football as a sophomore, so his junior year was the first time he was able to play a lot."
