After a bit of a slow week on the prep scene last weekend, things are picking back up in a big way in week four. In Ohio, there are several match-ups that feature Ohio State commits/recruiting targets on both sides of the field and below we breakdown the three best match-ups of the weekend.

1. Huge showdown in the Dayton area

Friday night will provide a big-time match-up in Dayton as Trotwood-Madison hosts Huber Heights Wayne in a game that will feature a handful of Ohio State recruiting targets.

For Trotwood, senior safety Bam Bradley and junior corner Cameron Burrows have already been offered by the Buckeyes. Juniors Mike McCray and Reon Dawson are also being looked at.

On the Wayne side of things, junior center/defensive tackle Lovell Peterson is off to an outstanding start to his season and is one of the Buckeyes' top in-state targets for the 2013 class. Peterson isn't the only junior on Wayne's roster that is playing at a high level right now as quarterback Javon Harrison and offensive lineman Cole Newsome have both played well early in the season and both are drawing interest from Ohio State.

One key match-up to watch in this one is Burrows going up against Wayne senior receiver Armani Miller. Miller is one of the top receivers in Ohio and is committed to Toledo. Teams have not tested Burrows through three weeks but there is no doubt that he will get some balls thrown his way on Friday night.

2. Pick Central back in action

After a couple of tough losses to Cincinnati powers to start the season, Ohio State commits Roger Lewis and Jacoby Boren and their Pickerington Central team return to the field on Friday night after a bye last weekend. The Tigers find themselves in a tough situation as they will need to win least six of their remaining seven games to make the playoffs after being considered the heavy favorite in Region 3 heading into the season.

Standing in Pickerington Central's way on Friday will be perennial division rival Lancaster and a future teammate of Lewis and Boren in linebacker Luke Roberts. Lancaster started off its season 2-0 but lost a close one to Twinsburg last week. A win in this game would be absolutely huge for either team and it will be interesting to see which future Buckeye(s) come out on top.

3. Ohio State targets collide in Cleveland

For Ohio State commitment Blake Thomas, the 6-foot-4, 240-pound tight end has certainly been a part of some intriguing match-ups the last few weeks.

Two weeks ago, his St. Ignatius team hosted fellow Buckeye commit Tyvis Powell and Bedford, a game that Thomas and company won by nearly 40 points.

Last week, Thomas and Ignatius fell to Mentor and future Michigan Wolverine Tom Strobel in a game that saw the two match-up for several individual battles. On Saturday night, Thomas will once again be in the spotlight of a game that should have many sets of eyes from Buckeye Nation watching as St. Ignatius hosts Centerville and linebacker/defensive end Ifeadi Odenigbo.

Odenigbo is without question one of the top prospects left on Ohio State's board and Thomas will likely have plenty of opportunities to go up against the athletic pass-rusher.
