This guy whiffs on so many fastballs and usually strikes out on them too. I can understand missing breaking pitches or off speed pitches but it seems every at bat that i have seen of him, at least twenty, he is late on a fastball. He can never catch up to them. It is so frustrating. Anyone else notice this? Most hitters that get fastballs drill them.

he's been hot since either June or the ASB. Then got hurt & we traded for him.
He's going to turn out to be a better defensive version of Glaus. Hope I'm wrong, but his bat has looked slow at the plate. Much like Glaus.

Cub fan here, Lee's been injured all year, that's why his number and play are not nearly as good as usual. He's been tough though and played through it.
