Since Reuben's visit to Tuscaloosa Saturday, what are our chances to sign him?

None I hope! We want him at Georgia!!!

As an AU fan, would be just as happy to see Mr. Reuben T. Foster land at Bama or UGA.  What does the "T" stand for?  Well it ain't Tiberius.

Looks like its bama for foster. I'm just glad it's done for this young man. Or at least it appears it is over. His recruitment was bizzare to say the least.

He looked scared to death and confused.  Long time between now and Weds. You never know.  But...I have said this before I keep hearing he will have trouble qualifying whereever he ends up.

Nothing to worry about on the grades, Saban and company made sure of that because Bama's numbers are so tight and they had other players ready to take the spot.

I agree with you bots on scared look.  Mama didn't look too happy when she came out either.  I've gone back and forth (about as often as he has ha-ha) on whether I wanted him for AU or not.  He's a dynamic player and seems to have the "it" factor when it comes to other kids.  My concern is his apparent need of attention and would he truly be a team player.  I do believe that if he makes it to Bama that Saban just may whip him into shape.  If this is what it takes to make him a better "man" in the long run, then I hope it works out for him.  He just seems to really need some "growing up"!!

I'm really excited about Carl Lawson.  He seems like a talented and stand up young man.  I wish there were more kids out there like him, but I truly believe that having the family backing that he seems to have makes the difference!!!

Agree on all points av8r. I'm hoping for the best but not necessarily expecting it. He seems like a really nice kid and who knows how I would have acted with all that attention at his age but he clearly could have handled it better as others have....like Lawson for example.

I have never seen a civil thread on a 5* recurit both bama and auburn are after but this one takes the cake.   The flip-flopping is crazy.  He seems so confused that he just needs to stick with the commit and go with it.   No doubting his ability if he makes it in school.   Good luck to RF.

I believe that many fans have gone through the different emotions with this kid.  At some point we want him, but at the same time we see that he could be more trouble than he's worth.  There are plenty on both sides who claim they don't want him when he's committed to the other team, but love him when he's committed to their team.  Pretty comical actually!!

I'll admit that during the announcement I went back and forth on wanting to hear him say Auburn or Bama!!!  Once again, I hope things work out for him and that he gets on and stays on the right path.

If you have played any kind of organized sports you know that there is one kid if given enough rope can ruin a team with their cancer attitude.  Time will tell on this kid.

On a side note does anyone know how many generations were on the show with him last night?  I am thinking 3 or 4 but no one looked over 50.  Crazy...

I did too man.

The more you watch Reuben you gotta feel for this kid.   I thought it was strange that Reuben wanted to follow Trooper but when you watch him you can tell he is looking for some kind of father figure that he has not had.    It seems he wants that more than a school.   To me it is sad to watch and I hope this kid makes it and gets what he is looking for.  Seems like a good kid that needs some guidance and I hope he gets it.

Did he really wear a sweater vest and a big Saban straw hat for his letter signing??

I hope he turns things in the right direction, but this link had me almost in tears.  Some people came up with some funny versions of RF sleeping in class.  Doesn't look good for his desire to pull up the ol' academics.

Saw that too, funny stuff. I do think (hope) he was trolling just a bit with some of those pics. Sleeping with his head on his desk at Auburn HS seems doable (as it would be most anywhere) but actually laying ontop of the tables??? As an Alabama commit at a HS in Auburn, AL??? I'm thinking troll.....though perhaps his time could have been put to better use.

Maybe he is just 'planking' in class?  This dude needs to grow up a bunch.   Hopefully sooner than later or we will see him at Ark Bible College with a few others.

I forgot about planking. So stupid....yet for some reason it makes me laugh.

Agree, he must grow up. It does seem like he gets in most of his trouble when he tries (but fails) to please everyone all the time. You just can't please everyone all the time....you just have to do what is right for you and screw anyone that has an issue with it.
