Yea I agree. Bammer has backed into a few with loses but life goes on. I think the bigger ? is how the heck did ND get there. They played almost nobody, those they did play lost their bowl game. Seems like AU must get the perfect season to get in the game.
That had to be the worst bowl game to watch in the history of bowl games. You win the SEC champ game, they might as well crown you. That game was a joke to watch. It looked like Bama was playing Southwest Missouri State only SMS would also beat the crap out of ND. ND didn't even look like they had basic tackle and cover skills, what a joke. ND play calling was minor league, why the heck go after an all-SEC CB all the time? Hell they didn't even look motivated to be in the NCG? Congrats to Bama for beating the heck out of ND.

Probably the only decent BCS Champ game in the last few years was the Auburn-Oregon game. Both teams clearly belonged in that one. |

Maybe I have called you out more than others, because you display this characteristic much more often than others. You have pretty much self appointed yourself as the all knowing, all being caretaker of this board and you constantly lecture pretty much everyone on what they should say and how they should act on here. Just to respond to at least one of your points, no you arer not consistent. We did get a little lucky didn't we CT? Does that make you more or less miserable. Championships typicall do involve an element of luck but winning them means you were prepared to take advantage of whatever opportunity comes your way. If it helps you cope, by all means you should try to diminish very real results with whatever karmic spin you think will help...but at the end of the day, haha, yea...it still feels pretty good on this end.

Luck is a term that can be used in almost any situation. Is it luck when a team gets
a turnover, or is it the skill of the player to be in a position to create a turnover?
A lot of "luck" is created through many hours of blood,sweat, and tears on the practice
field and weight room. Bottom line is Oregon and KSU controlled their own destiny but
crumbled under the pressure and spotlight of the big stage. Was Bama supposed to decline
the bid to play in the BCSNCG because other teams did not man-up with it all on the line?
