I just saw an article on ESPN web site that the trees at Toomer's Corner are going down after April 20th. I am sorry to hear that. I know that a great tradition in southern football is coming to an end. I have made several trips to Auburn for UT-Auburn football games and I have always had great admiration for the spirit shown by the Auburn fans. I have always stated every football fan needs to attend a game at Auburn at least once. To me it is the best example of the draw of southern football. To have more then 80,000 fans show up for a football game in an area no where need a major city with as much excitement as you will see anywhere.
Again, I'm sorry to see the tradition come to an end.
Maybe Auburn fans will think twice about putting a $cam Newton jersey on the statue of Bear Bryant and burning the final score 28-27 in the grass outside of Bryant Denny Stadium. I hate for a tradition to be disrupted, but people forget that this was kinda brought on by your own actions.

Here's a PRIME example of what most of the country thinks of when they imagine the "stereotypical" Bama fan!!! I'd bet you'd be one of those standing in line to get an Updyke or teabagger autograph. I'd also be willing to bet that you've never attended a class at UAT and possibly never even stepped foot on the campus!!
