FSU > Auburn. Fact.
12/4 5:39 PM | IP: Logged

Auburn > FSU. Fact.  Forget being the best team in their state. The criminoles arent even the 2nd best team in their state. Miami and Florida have both had more success historically. Auburn has as well. We are also  founding members of the best of conference in college football. A conference that doesnt want the criminoles because you arent important enough to join

Gus won a conference championship yesterday with a 45-0 performance...I still like Chris Petersen and Gary Patterson too

what about James Franklin at Vanderbilt?

He is probably somewhere on the coaching list. How high on the list depends on how many coaches are interested in the job
11/26 2:07 PM | IP: Logged

Lou Holtz is available.

Speaking of drunks, did Pat Dye ever find his pants?
11/25 6:47 PM | IP: Logged
You guys should go after Charlie Weis.
11/25 6:11 PM | IP: Logged

FSU will wave their buy out on Jimbo.  His stock is dropping fast.
11/25 5:30 PM | IP: Logged
Please take JIMBO from FSU.
11/25 3:46 PM | IP: Logged
Bo Pelini - NO, NO, NO.
Gary Patterson - YES, he should be an immediate hire, if he is still interested, we need to do it now.
Jimbo Fisher - YES
Gus Malzhan - NO, the resume isn't long enough, we need more experience, and no old ties to this regime.
Al Golden - Yes, he won at Temple for God's sake, and doing a decent job at Miami, under the circumstances.
Bob Stoops - Hell YES, if there is any truth to that rumor, but I don't really believe it.
Larry Fedora - Yes, I'll take him.
Dan Mullen - NO
Bill Obrien - YES

Bobby Petrino - NO, and Hell NO.

Fedora, Golden, or Gary Patterson would be great choices, IMO.
11/25 5:22 PM | IP: Logged

I like Gary Patterson a lot...and I'm good with Gus.

But imo few do LESS with more than Bob Stoops at Oklahoma - he has everything at his disposal and comes up short year after year

Petrino poisoned the well himself - he shouldn't even be interviewed

Jimbo Fisher- Hell No! The guy has done nothing but beat up on cupcakes in the ACC
11/25 7:53 AM | IP: Logged

Chizik will be released within an hour or so of today's Iron Bowl.

Jimbo Fisher is still undecided (but it's no secret the ACC is "Easy Street" compared to the SEC)

Gus Malzahn and Gary Patterson both want the job in a big way - they are the current leaders in the clubhouse.

As of right now - the smart money is on Gus Malzahn but anything could change.

Let's see how it plays out...WDE

11/24 10:52 AM | IP: Logged
Dragonz Lair i would caution you to not believe anything you read on the internet. . Jimbo aint  going anywhere. But maybe Chizik or van  Gorder just might be..
12/3 5:55 PM | IP: Logged

HEY DUMBASS NOLE...this thread started on November 23rd and he was simply a name on a list at that time...if you aren't too stupid to read try again...I stated what Gus Malzahn had accomplished and then said I still wanted Petersen or Patterson too (let us know how that ACC affiliation thing works out for you guys)

Good! The great majority of Auburn fans would be perfectly happy if the criminoles kept Jimbo. The ass kicking he received against Florida shows what would happen to him if any SEC school was ever dumb enough to hire him. I just hope and pray Auburn is never that stupid

Jimbo is 2-1 against UF, and 3-1 vs SEC. Clown. And he sure as hell isn't leaving for the sinking ship that is Auburn.

He is 1-1 against Muschamp and it is only going to get worse from here. You can bet your ass on that. Muschamp is a far superior coach to little Jimbo. Your little circus college also has a losing record against virtually every  SEC school all time, including both Auburn and Florida. That probaby explains why the SEC doesnt want your sorry asses. You think you are some type of an elite powerhouse, but you have actually sucked during most of your existence

It depends on the NCAA probe into the Dye mafia and the violations.

Not really worried about it. If bammer can get away with giving out houses, SUV's, fishing trips  plane rides
clothes, and grade changes,  the secondary violations Trooper and Luper were apparently involved in and a car ride from Memphis to Auburn should be no big deal

You may not be worried but no A list coach is going to take a job if there is a possibility of NCAA sanction. You just never know what they man find when they start questioning coaches.

We'll have a coach by Christmas and a story about a kid who's transcripts got changed but never played a down at the school is not going to change anything.

PS: Shouldn't you be worshipping a deceased drunk or something?

When did Pat drink himself to death? I'm a big fan of his work on the Finebaugh radio network.

I know bammer has too many drunks to count them all, but I think he was talking about the Bahr. He was obviously a drunk and you  idiots obviously still worship him as evidenced by the fact that you still walk around with houndstooth hats, shirts, coats, purses, and probably underwear 30 years after his death

Coach Byant had a great life and coaching career. It is apparent that his domination hurt you and your fambuleh. He went in dry many times and you obviously have nightmares 30 years after his passing. I can think of no other reason(other than you are mentally ill) to explain your hatred of a great man.

Typical bammer. Come on an Auburn board and run your mouth about Auburn having some type of Dye mafia and then get your little feelings your when somebody points out the truth about your own school being  ran by crooks and cheaters and your fan base worshipping a drunk, womanizing, cheater like the Bahr

He forgets that every man has a vice. We can detail those of some auburn coaches if he wants to go down this path.

Mention whatever you want. There is not enough time in the day to list all the vices of bammer football and basketball coaches over the years

I thought you had proof of some of these? Did you send the evidence into the NCAA? What was their reply?

Au will have a new coach hired before Christmas...the NCAA can take months to decide if there's a reason to send a LOI...it will have no bearing on the next hire.

If you intend to have a new coach by Christmas, it won't be Fisher, Strong, Patterson, Malzahn, or any other coach that is a head coach coaching a team that is going to a bowl game after that date.  Maybe an assistant.  My guess is that you will be looking at hiring a coach after the new year.

Bo Pelini, Dan Mullen, Chris Petersen, Pat Fitzgerald/etc...I think our next head football coach will come from this list or someone similar to these candidates...Fisher and Malzahn have both coached at Auburn and Patterson wanted the job (and was interviewed) when we hired Chizik in 2009
