Wow. This is the type of passion I'm talking about, people. There is absolutely not a snowball's chance in hell that we go into Tuscaloosa and win that game, yet DyeI is this confident. I am impressed, and it truly brings a tear to my eye thinking about your excitement for this game and for Auburn University.
As I sit in my home office, surrounded by paintings of the five or six times our University has been relevant in college football, I close my eyes and dream of Onterrio McCalebb running up the middle, trouncing over Jesse Williams, Nico Johnson, and Robert Lester en route to a 56 yard touchdown. I dream of Emory Blake burning Dee Milliner down the right sideline for a 68 yard touchdown reception thrown perfectly by Jonathan Wallace... and then I become immediately depressed when I open my eyes and realize that Alabama's football team is better than Auburn's football team in every way imaginable.
I plan on meeting with Gene and his staff this week, as I'm putting together an incentive plan for them if they can keep this game within a reasonable margin. Good luck to our boys this week.
