I understand your frustrations and simply implore you to bear with me as I make these important decisions regarding our beloved University's future. I am working diligently and with a sense of urgency to resolve the matters at hand, and I assure you that I will keep Auburn's best interest at heart.
I know that as fans, your first and foremost thoughts and desires are hinged on beating our dominant rival, Alabama. Believe me, there is nobody out there that wants to see that program wilt away more than myself. I was in the student section waving my Sigma Chi flag during the 1965, 1966, 1967, and 1968 seasons when Bama was mopping the floor with their opponents. Over that time frame, our dominant big brothers imposed their will on us to the tune of 92-22, winning conference championships in 1965 and 1966 and the National Championship in 1965. I have since watched them win 13 more conference titles and 6 more National Championships while our Tigers mustered up a whopping 1 NC and have struggled to get past the likes of Ole Miss and Georgia Tech in conference titles.
So my vow to you, Auburn Tiger fans, is to bring down the powerhouse that sits in Tuscaloosa. Like all of you, that is my one and only goal as we search for our next leader. I appreciate you all supporting this university and standing behind our godly coaching staff that continues to be all-in. Just remember, this is a young team, and we will be young for at least 10-12 more years, which will buy our next coaching staff a few extra years of employment while we continue to bottomfeed in the SEC. Dear President Gogue,
I will keep this reply simple and to the point. If you are truly sincere in your stated wishes to narrow the gap with bammer, your first step should be to become as liberal as they are in claiming championships and you should start by claiming national titles from 1983, 1993, and 2004 for Auburn to go along with the one we already have for 2010. After all, if bammer can claim a national championship in a year they finished in 3rd place in the SEC and in 20th place nationally in the AP poll like they do with 1941, I see no reason Auburn shouldnt claim titles in years we went undefeated and won SEC championships like we did in 2004, or when we went through the entire season undefeated like we did in 1993 . Using those same methods, I also see no reason we shouldnt claim a title from 1983 when we won the SEC, finished tied for the best record in the entire country, and were awarded the national championship in the New York Times computer poll, which used a lot of the same components the BCS used when it first formed. After all, there is no reason bammer should have such a distinct advantage in these categories when Auburn has as many undefeated seasons since 2004 as bammer has since 1980.
If you want to further damage bammer, you should pray that they never again back into the national championship game without winning the western division like last year and the other team's star player doesnt get injured during the game like happened in 2009. Without both of these fortunate events, bammer would likely still only have 1 national championships since the 1970's, which is exactly the same number we have

I dont know what main board would say. However, I currently post on a SEC board and a national board not connected to rivals,but you might not like their findings. Just about every non-bammer on this national board was rooting for you to lose to both LSU and A&M because just about every non-bammer on this national board despises your idiotic fan base
The SEC board I post on actually had a thread today asking which SEC fan bases had the most normal fans and which fan base had the most whacked out, crazy, or lunatic fans. Auburn was voted among the most normal fans. bammer was voted among the most whacked out, crazy, or insane fans

I can only assume that, with a post like that, you carry yourself with a bitter attitude towards life. Believe me, Sanctions Stand, I am sick and tired of Bama being so dominant, but I would never wish for someone to break his leg.
I can only hope that you will rally behind our group of losers for one more game this season.
