You think that masterpiece in New Orleans was done by letting the kids loose. Coaching kids up...how about J. Arenas? Saban turned him into an NFL caliber defensive player. Upshaw is light years from what he was when he stepped on campus. How about R. Lester? What about M. Barron? That guy was a tremendous athlete from Day 1 sure, but Bama's staff has turned into the best safety in the country. Your profile says you are 52. For the love of God I hope that is wrong. Nobody that follows football at 52 should be this ignorant. Take off your blue and orange glasses and give credit where credit is due. And btw, what AU coaches were you referring to when you said Auburn's staff "coaches them up better"? Malzhan... uh no. Roof...Nope. Van Gorder and Loeffler have no history with AU, so what coach does AU have that "coaches them up" and what player has been coached up. Grimes might be your best bet, but that line he did so well with were all Sr's. He didn't look so hot last year. Your line was pathetic. There is almost no evidence of any player that this AU staff has coached up. Neiko Thorpe was the same craptastic DB as a SR. as he was the day he stepped on campus. Absolutely terrible. Hell, Darren Bates has regressed. I am going to end this rant by stating that you are an absolute imbecile that has no business commenting on football. Good day to you sir.
