According to rivals your class may end up 1 spot higher, according to ESPN and Scouts Alabama will finish higher. It is all a matter of opinion how good a class is, be happy you have a good class besides trying to compare it to Bama. I am happy with our class we do not get to take 30 something commits we just feel in our needs we are loaded everywhere and Auburn isn't. Quit acting like you guys are just as good as Alabama and if you are saying you are I want some proof of it because I got a lot of proof that says Alabama owns Auburn in just about every way imaginable.

Oh, and I should add my argument as to the nature of humans:
All humans of sound mind (that means, simply, not mentally disturbed or deranged) understand that pain, suffering, discomfort, and grief are unfavorable feelings. As such, we are able to extrapolate that since we do not like these things and do not want them to happen to us, other people don't either.
Sociopaths, psychopaths, and other mentally unstable people have no concept of this or do not care. But we are talking about the average person. How do they know that inflicting pain or grief or discomfort on someone is bad? Because they know they don't want that to happen to them.
This concept has been around even in sub-human species. It was the foundation for things like the 10 commandments. They were simply attributed to God because those people had no other way of understanding of human nature. It was a false attribution.
If humans were not good by nature, morality would never have come to exist.

I'm not of the persuasion that everyone who believes in God is a hick, just so you know.
As for many of the world's brightest people believing in God, that's an appeal to authority and completely irrelevant. The academic intelligence of people believing in God means almost nothing. Same with the number of people who believe.
I guarantee you that if you study the sociology and psychology of the early Israelite tribes you'll see why believing them about the creator of the universe is nothing more than wish-thinking and a waste of time.
Also, just as you pointed out you're a doctor, I'd like to point out I was a practicing Christian for nearly a decade. I know the Tanakh and the New Testament very well, and it was my constant reading and re-reading of these canonical texts that convinced me those people, like the Sumerians and Babylonians before them, and the Muslims and Hindus and Mormons and Scientologists after them, created a god in THEIR image, which is why, coincidentally, those groups were picked by their gods as the "chosen people."
Biblical scripture should be important to us in as far as its value as literature of the early people of our planet and as a way to look at cultural traditions and thinking. But it should absolutely never be considered the word of the creator, if there is one. It isn't. It's man-made, self-serving mythology infused with some real world events (many misinterpreted as divine or miraculous) and some real world people (misidentified or labeled as holy or unholy or what-not).

There are bad people because environment plays a huge role in determining behavior. At the most basic level everyone understands that if they don't like pain, don't enjoy suffering, and discomfort, anxiety, fear, then other people do not either, and other people would not want any of those things brought upon them. If that's "the stupidest thing" you've ever heard, maybe you're just not very bright.
As for your second comment: how do I know???? I know it just like I know that praying to Xenu or Allah or Barney the fu(king Dinosaur won't work: because they are characters not based on reality. Xenu and Allah are deities based on the social constructs known as Scientology and Islam. They are man made, always have been, and so are their Gods.
It's a silly question. How do I know praying to God won't work??? Because he is a fabrication of ancient humans. Anyone who hasn't been raised on this mythological bullshit or exploited and deceived into it during a time of helplessness understands this very well.
Besides, I've done my fair share of praying. It was a part of my life for many years once. Thank God I'm over it.
