I have been in either local or state law enforcement since 1987, and a member of the Army National Guard or active duty since 1984. I received my Army commission as a 2LT from AU in 1984. I went to US Army flight school from 1986-87. I completed my BS at Troy State U and got my MS from AU at Montgomery in 1995. I have been with the state since 1991. I was called back to active duty in 2002 for the US Army at FT McPherson, GA, then moved to FT Gillem from 2007-09. I was deployed to Afghanistan for 1 year. I am currently at US Forces Command at FT McPherson, GA.

My oldest daughter is a graduate of bama. My middle daughter went El Salvador on a year-long mission trip and is now at AUM for a year and will transfer to AU. My baby girl is Jr in HS and wants to go to Auburn. My wife is a converted GA fan. Except my oldest daughter, we are all huge AU fans and have had AU season tickets since 2003.
