Kansas guard Sherron Collins matched his career high with 26 points - including 18 in the first 12 minutes - and the Jayhawks beat Iowa State 82-67 for their fourth straight win.

Cole Aldrich added 16 points and 12 rebounds for the Jayhawks, who survived a 42-point, 14-rebound effort from Iowa State's Craig Brackins to stay perfect in Big 12 play.

Kansas (15-4, 4-0 Big 12) pushed a six-point halftime lead to 64-47 with 11:01 left. Iowa State answered with 13-2 run, capped by a 3 from Brackins that made it 66-60, but Tyrel Reed knocked down an open 3 and Collins hit a pull-up jumper to put the Jayhawks ahead 73-60 with 3:43 left.

Brackins scored the most points by a Big 12 player in a game this season, breaking the mark of 38 he set against Houston on Dec. 28.

Brackins went 11-of-19 from the floor and 17-of-21 from the free-throw line. But the rest of his team shot just 8-of-36 from the field as Iowa State (12-7, 1-3) lost to Kansas at home for the fifth straight time.
