August 21, 2013- - AUBURN | The 2014 Auburn football schedule will feature seven home games and five road games, featuring SEC home contests against Arkansas, LSU, South Carolina and Texas A&M. Auburn's non-conference home games are against San Jose State, Louisiana Tech and Samford.
Auburn will open the 2014 season at Jordan-Hare Stadium against Arkansas on Aug. 30, the Tigers' first SEC season opener since a 46-13 win over Ole Miss in 1995. Auburn plays host to San Jose State the following week on Sept. 6.
The Tigers will have the first of two open weeks before traveling to Manhattan, Kan., to play at Kansas State on Sept. 20. It will mark the first time Auburn has played at Kansas State since 1978.
Auburn will return to Jordan-Hare Stadium to host Louisiana Tech on Sept. 27 and LSU on Oct. 4, before playing its first SEC road game on Oct. 11 at Mississippi State. It will be the latest the Tigers have had their first conference road game since 2005.
After another open week, Auburn will alternate home and away games for the final six weeks of the regular season. The Tigers will close October when they host South Carolina on Oct. 25 before traveling to Ole Miss on Nov. 1.
Auburn will host Texas A&M on Nov. 8 and make its first trip to Athens, Ga., since 2011 when it plays at Georgia on Nov. 15.
The Tigers' final non-conference game of the season will be on Nov. 22 when they host Samford. They will close the regular season at Alabama on Nov. 29.
The dates for the A-Day and Homecoming in 2014 will be announced at a later date.
The 2014 SEC Championship Game is scheduled for Saturday, December 6, at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
