SAN FRANCISCO -- No game this week? No problem! The Bear Republic Podcast is in full effect from The Republic at 3213 Scott St. in San Francisco with a little feminine class, a full house on the mic and plenty of libations as Jon Doss, Ryan Gorcey, Danny Fry and Robert Kenneth Clampett are joined by a few other Cal alums and the owner of Shaw Security Management and The Republic, Shaw Amirghassemkhany, in this week's Bye Week Shenanigans podcast.
We talk baseball, statistical analysis, the Washington game last week and even some breakdown of the Oregon game coming up on Thursday in Eugene in this week's edition of BearTerritory.net's acclaimed podcast. Given the two straight Thursday night contests for California, and the upcoming Jewish holiday -- Yom Kippur -- we will be taking a break after the contest against the Ducks, before coming back strong before the Bears' clash against USC with a Tuesday broadcast.
In this week's football coverage, check out BearTerritory's feature on national honoree, senior kicker Giorgio Tavecchio. BT was also at practice this week as the Bears prepared for their weeknight contest against the Ducks.
Five Cal sports also celebrated the one-year anniversary of being cut this week, before the contributions of donors saved them all from elimination, including baseball.
Read Robert Kenneth Clampett's most recent statistical analysis articles HERE and HERE, focusing on red-zone breakdowns against the Huskies and the tailback play against Presbyterian.
